Paavo Nurmi has been nicknamed "the Flying Fin" in distance running. He was a legendary Finnish athlete known for his incredible speed and endurance. Nurmi set numerous world records during his career and was particularly famous for his performances in the 1920s Olympic Games, dominating long-distance events.
